Year two on the HMS campus came and went and the Wildcat Nation still remains strong!!!

Among the many the many highlights ... we won our 14th consecutive Vallejo City Title, our 8th straight Girl's State Championship and ESPN did a story about our program. Off the mat we were honored by Jamba Juice for our Red Ribbon Week Community Cleanup, we collected our all-time high amount of Troop Support Goodies, we assisted Silverado Middle School in the starting of their wrestling program, raised money for wrestling uniforms in the Philippines and scholarships in Viet Nam. We also took the East Coast by storm when we competed in New York and Florida over Spring Break.

Individual Season Highlights

Shelly Avelino, the quintessential iron-woman, never missed a meet in 3 years. She leaves the Springstowne Academy with the All-Time win record, 3-State Titles, 3-City Championships and a National Championship!!!

Romiland Lobusta, was the Wildcat strong man in 2013. He qualified for the Northern California Tournament of Champions and scored 3 golds at the Marine Corps Iron Man Championships in Florida!!!

Flordelee Madamba finished her career with three-state medals and three Vallejo City Titles!!!

Michael Phannavong led the Wildcats boys in the fastest pin department with a 0:09 fall!!!

Valerie Franco won her 3rd California State Championship medal in as many seasons!!!
